General Requirements:
- At least 60 credits of completed coursework.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher for matriculated students wishing to switch majors. For all applicants, a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
General Studies major - 46 credits
Focus Area Requirements……………………………. 45 credits
A student chooses (3) out of a total of (7) focus areas in which to group their coursework and completes 15 credits in each. A minimum grade of a C- or better is required for major courses.

Important Notices:
- 23 credits must be taken in residence, allowing at maximum 23 credits that can be transferred in to the major.
- 24 credits must be upper division, allowing for at maximum 22 credits that can be lower division credits. Upper division is considered anything 300 level or higher.
