Undergraduate Research Opportunities

The Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities program enables opportunities for students to participate in discipline specific activities that lead to the production of new knowledge or works. Students should participate in independent thinking and gain hands-on experience under the direct guidance of a faculty mentor. For an idea of the types of projects pursued in the past, please see the Student Research Symposium page.

Funding for student research and scholarship is available through the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program. Academic Year funding is available for undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activities through the AYURE program. Students who are interested in participating in either of these programs should consult with a faculty member and or a member of the RSCA advisory board.
