Duties: The State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz welcomes applications for the role of Regional Recruiter for the Office of Undergraduate Admission. This is a part-time position that will recruit prospective students for the Office of Undergraduate Admission at SUNY New Paltz by attending college fairs and high school visits in the Central and Western Regions of New York State. The ideal candidate will reside in Central/Western NYS and be able to commute from home to college fairs and high school visits. Counties in recruitment territory include but are not limited to Allegany, Broome, Cayuga, Erie, Herkimer, Monroe, Onondaga, Oswego, Oneida, etc. Much of this work will happen between the months of September-November and between the months of March-May. This is a regional position; however, the employee will be required to have a presence on campus occasionally. The employee will be paid on a per diem basis and will be reimbursed for mileage.

Qualifications: Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be organized
• Ability to lift heavy boxes
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license
• The Employee will be required to use their own vehicle for travel

Preferred:
• Master’s Degree
• Experience working in college admissions or high school guidance and/or college counseling
