Duties: The State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz welcomes applications for an Adjunct Professor in the department of Special Education. The successful candidate will teach one or more courses in the Special Education department for the Behavior Analysis and Interdisciplinary Autism Studies program in an upcoming semester. Courses may include:
SPE516 Methods of Instruction in Behavior Analysis
SPE517 Methods of Assessment in Behavior Analysis
SPE519 Implementation of Assessment and Measurement Tools

The courses span a typical 16-week semester, and each is offered one day a week in the evening. Additional responsibilities include being available to meet with students outside of class. All courses are fully seated on our campus.
Qualifications: Required:
• M.A. or Doctoral degree in behavior analysis or a related field
• BCBA or BCBA-D certification
• New York Licensed Behavior Analyst (NY LBA) or understand the scope of practice in New York State
• Minimum of five years of experience in the field
