Duties: The English Department at the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz seeks an Assistant Professor of English – Multi-Ethnic and LatinX Literature. Candidates will be expected to develop and teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, in Multi-ethnic and LatinX literature, including introductory literature and writing courses as well as undergraduate and graduate courses in Latino/a, diasporic, borderland, and/or immigrant narratives and intersectionalities. They will also maintain an active program of scholarly research leading to publication, effective teaching and mentoring, and service within the college and disciplinary community.
Qualifications: Required:
• A PhD in English, Comparative Literature or related field
