Duties: The Campus Auxiliary Service at the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz welcomes applications for the role of Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be a quick professional with great time-management and multitasking abilities. Must be able to quickly and correctly execute their work in order to alleviate executive workload.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
• Support CAS Offices in bookkeeping, office coverage, card access and customer service
• Assist Office Visitors
• Answering and redirecting emails, phone calls and faxes
• Schedule meetings
• Maintain executive director’s agenda and assist in planning appointments, board meetings, conferences etc.
• Attend meetings and keep minutes
• Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible

Qualifications: Required:
• High school degree
• Previous office experience and a willingness to learn
• Friendly and cooperative attitude

Preferred:
• College Degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Word
• Ability to quickly learn new software platforms
