NOTE: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, any camps, clinics and workshops for children scheduled for summer 2021 will be subject to CDC, state and local health department guidelines. This includes possible cancellation due to current local and state COVID-19 rates. 


SUNY New Paltz offers camps, clinics and workshops for children of all ages and ability levels in many different areas of interest, including the arts, STEM, writing, and athletics. Join the hundreds of families who have already discovered the fantastic opportunities for learning, growth and play on campus this summer!

For children who are in need of remedial literacy support.

Literacy Center Summer Program
Capacity: 50

The Literacy Tutoring Program provides individual and small group help to children needing improvement with these skills.

Due to changes in the college's operations, the program instruction will be provided online. Parents will schedule set tutoring times with graduate candidate tutors paird with their children.

Ulster Arts Camp: The Art Effect

At The Art Effect’s summer Dutchess and Ulster arts camps, children ages 5-10 will explore their artistic abilities and have fun working on creative projects in person, socially distanced and outside whenever possible this summer.

Session 1: August 2nd - 6th

Session 2: August 9th - 13th

Monday through Friday: 9:00am - 4:30pm

Early Drop off (815-8:45am) and Late Pickup (4:30-5:15pm) available. (space limited and additional cost required)
