Numbering close to 7000 objects and representing art movements from ancient to contemporary, the permanent collection of the Dorsky Museum has grown dramatically from its modest beginnings in 1939.
Encyclopedic in nature, our collection’s strengths include American Art with an emphasis on the Hudson River Valley and Catskill regions, photography, traditional and contemporary metals, and a world collection representing cultures from around the globe.
Through its permanent collection, The Dorsky supports and enriches the academic programs at the college, and presents a diverse range of art for study and enjoyment.
