Transfer Welcome Day - Wednesday, June 30 from 9am-3pm
This is an optional experience for our new transfer students to visit campus, connect with other transfer students, and connect with student services offices.
Remember, Transfer Orientation is 100% ONLINE for Summer 2021. Transfer students will complete online modules through Visual Zen, connect with an academic advisor virtually, and register for classes online. This Transfer Welcome Day is the only on-campus experience this summer, and will not include any academic/registration components.

Testing, Screening, and Vaccination Requirements for Welcome Day
We are taking careful steps to safely plan this in-person experience. We will utilize outdoor space as much as possible (so please dress accordingly!). Masks will be required for all participants, regardless of vaccination status, and we will have capacity limits to sessions held indoors.
All students attending Transfer Welcome Day must comply with one of the following: be fully vaccinated (2 weeks after final vaccine in series) OR submit a negative PCR test prior to arrival. Note – a PCR test must taken within 5 days of your arrival to campus. Submit your proof of vaccination or negative test result to your Covid-19 Profile on my.newpaltz.edu at least 24 hours before arrival. Students must also complete a Covid-19 Screening on my.newpaltz.edu on the day of the event, prior to checking in. This video shows you how to do these tasks!
We ask that if you are bringing a guest, please do not bring more than 2. There is a $15/day charge for each guest (you will receive an email with payment instructions after registration.) Guests will need to show proof of vaccination or negative test (taken within 5 days) via the New York State Excelsior Pass.
