This past fall semester New Paltz students returned to many of our partner universities across the globe. These students spent the semester living in a new place, studying critical global issues, and making friends with their peers in another country. As we begin a new semester, I am excited about the renewed U.S. commitment to international education

Our staff continue to be available to help students explore resources that support their future travel plans including financial aid, international internships and service-learning opportunities.

The Center for International Programs, and the university as a whole, are committed to creating opportunities for our students to gain a safe and meaningful global education that positions them to address global challenges today and in the future. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to providing access to global learning opportunities for all our students, and will continue to provide these opportunities in online or hybrid formats until we are able to return to pre-pandemic models.

Students who are interested in learning more about current international opportunities can use this SUNY database of virtual programs across the system, with options suitable for every major and in almost every country.
